I have been a full time faculty member at Purdue University Calumet since the fall of 2008.  I received my M.S. in counseling from PUC in 1993 and am licensed as a school counselor in both Indiana and Illinois.  I hold the National Certified Counselor and the National Certified School Counselor credentials and am a licensed mental health counselor in Indiana.  I worked as a school counselor for 15 years and taught classes in the Counseling Program for several years as a visiting instructor before beginning my position at PUC.  My current teaching responsibilities include Introduction to School Counseling, Human Growth and Development, Career Counseling, Counseling Multicultural and Diverse Populations, Program Development/Ethics/Consultation, Group Counseling, and Internship.   To contact me, email me at mailto:bcolon@purduecal.edu.
